We’re really excited to announce that Explore York Libraries and Archives will be hosting a day of events for families and educators as part of the Second National Festival of LGBT History on Saturday 6 February 2016. Along with a series of talks at York St John University, showcasing cutting-edge research into LGBT history, the festival will feature family activities and a “story time” at York Explore on Museum Street. Those who work with young people can also be inspired by a talk about Doncaster Pride’s recent success with tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in Doncaster schools. Save the date now so you can celebrate with the whole family!
